HILARY-MAE GANNON

MSc Sports Med, BSc Physiotherapy, MISCP
Chartered Physiotherapist
Hilary is the Chartered Physiotherapist behind Movement Room Physiotherapy, She has over 10 years experience in Musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy having worked in Ireland, New Zealand and the UK. Completing her undergraduate Physiotherapy degree in University College Dublin she then went on to complete a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Trinity College Dublin.

When in New Zealand Hilary worked with Manawatu Rugby Union, working closely with a number of All Blacks and Black ferns 15s and 7s players. Hilary has held the position of Lead Physiotherapist with the Irish Women's Cricket squad before moving to Cardiff to take up a full time role with the Welsh Rugby Union as lead physiotherapist across their Women's program. After being involved in Six Nations, Autumn campaigns, Women's World Cup 2017 and numerous international 7s tournaments Hilary then accepted a position with the Football Association of Wales where she spent 3 and half years as Head Women's Physiotherapist.

Hilary has worked on a consultancy basis with Badminton Wales and since returning to Ireland has worked as a contractor with the IRFU providing physiotherapy support to the Men and Women's 7s program, U20s and U18s Club and schools squads.
